| Leaders of SAT and the NPC deputies and the CPPCC members spoke glowingly of taxation |

The afternoon of March 12 embraced the happy atmosphere in the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the State Administration of Taxation （SAT） where the deputies to the 11th National People's Congress （NPC） and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference that came from the tax sector held a seminar. Leaders of SAT and some of the deputies to the NPC and the members of the CPPCC from the tax sector that attended "Two Conferences" together exchanged the feelings about "Two Conferences" and discussed the taxation work.
Xiao Jie，Director-General of SAT，Qian Guanlin，Xie Xuezhi，Wang Li and Song Lan， Deputy Directors-General of SAT，Feng Huimin， Head of the Discipline Inspection Group of SAT and Dong Zhilin，Member of Party Leadership Group of SAT，attended the seminar. Cui Junhui，Yang Fugang，Wang Kang，Xu Yuegang，Tang Zhiping，Qian Guoyu，Wang Wentong and Zhang Chongming，the deputies to the 11th NPC and Xu Shanda，the member of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC，attended the seminar and delivered the speeches. Besides，responsible comrades of SAT also attended the seminar.
At the seminar，Xiao Jie said that the 11th NPC witnessed the largest amount of deputies from the tax sector，which was the honor of the deputies themselves but also the pride of the entire tax sector of the nation，fully representing the care，attention and support of the taxation work from the local party committees，governments and different walks of the society. He further remarked that the seminar was specially held to learn about the opinions and suggestions of the taxation work from the deputies to the NPC and the members of the national committee of CPPCC and he hoped that the invited guests could state their viewpoints unreservedly.
Afterwards，the deputies to the NPC and the member of the national committee of CPPCC had a lively discussion of the current hot topics of taxation work with the leaders of SAT.
The deputies and the member said that during the period of "Two Conferences"，the participating deputies and committee members paid special attention to the issue of taxation and gave full recognition to the achievements relating to the tax collection administration，and raised quite a lot of opinions and suggestions regarding the development of taxation work and the improvement of taxation rules.
After listening carefully to the remarks of the participants，Xiao Jie thanked the deputies and committee member for their opinions and suggestions regarding the taxation work ，and confirmed that SAT would seriously study all the tax-relating motions，suggestions and proposals，make better replies to all of them with a highly responsible attitude，and through the joint efforts of the tax sector of the whole country，give better play to the taxation work so that it can play a positive role in building China into a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. |
