April of 2008 is the 17th National Taxation Awareness Month， and the State Administration of Taxation （SAT） recently announced that this year， the theme of the National Taxation Awareness Month was：Taxation · Development · People's livelihood.
SAT urges that the Taxation Awareness Month of 2008 should closely center on the theme of "Taxation. Development. People's livelihood"，take "using taxation to promote the development that will be served for people's livelihood" as the major contents，pay special attention to the propaganda of tax revenues，policies，management and tax payment services closely relating to the citizen's living，and strengthen the propaganda of the overall situation that tax work serves the social and economic development，the publicity of the rectification and standardization of taxation orders and the promotion of the construction of tax service teams and the images of tax officers.
It is learned that in the Awareness Month，SAT will launch a series of activities，such as exposing a bunch of typical tax-related cases，broadcasting tax-related public service advertisements on TV，publicizing tax laws online，etc. |
