Embassy officials from the BRI participating countries and representatives from international organizations visited the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism (BRITACOM) Secretariat and talked in a round-table meeting on the vision for tax administration cooperation along developing economies on April 18th.
Mr. Smail HALFAOUI, Counsellor in charge of Cooperation, Embassy of Algeria to China, Ms. Raushan Izbassarova, First Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to China, Mr. Huang Suhua, Deputy Director-general of the International Taxation Department of the State Taxation Administration (STA) of China, delivered keynote presentations. They shared their experiences in participating in the construction of the BRITACOM, and expressed their vision for playing a bridging role to promote cooperation and growth-friendly tax environment under the framework of the BRITACOM.
The officials, also from embassies of Tajikistan, Mongolia, Ethiopia, D.R. Congo, Cameroon, Peru, and Azerbaijan, and the international institutes like the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) discussed on issues of common concerns and initiatives of the BRITACOM development.
